Economics department of Jahangirnagar University (JU) became champions in the Inter-Department T20 Competition, defeating the History department by eight wickets.
The final round of the competition was held at JU central playground on the campus here on Tuesday.
JU Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Abul Hossain was present as the chief guest on the occasion and distributed prizes among the winners.
Student of the Economics department, Rasel, was declared Man of the Match.
President of Sports Management Committee Professor ATM Atiqur Rahman, Treasurer Professor Abul Khair and Director of JU Gymnasium, Sifatullah were present, among others, at the programme.
