A three day long workshop titled ‘Eco-friendly Printmaking Workshop’ has started at Fine Arts Institute of Chittagong University yesterday.
Prof Dr Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury, Vice Chancellor of CU inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest while Prof Dr Shirin Akter, pro-VC and Prof Dr Sekander Chowdhury, Dean of Arts faculty were present as the special guests, said a press release.
Presided over by Shaila Sharmin, Director of Fine Arts Institute the workshop was also addressed by artist Alamgir Haq and Associate Prof M Jashim Uddin also spoke among others.
Meanwhile, directed by Canada immigrant artist Alamgir Haq, a total 43 students of graph department take part in the workshop, the press release added.
