Chairman of Kaylan Party Maj Gen(Retd) Syed Md. Ibrahim said , local Election Commission office is working for ruling party- backed Mayor nominee for winning in the CCC mayoral race.
KP is a component party of BNP-led 20 party alliance. He said deployment of armed forces before one week of the election schedule is essential for free, neutral and peaceful election. He also blamed that EC has lost their credibility and no independency of their rights at present.
KP party chief disclosed it while exchanging views with the BNP backed Mayor nominee and immediate past Mayor Manzoor Alam at his residence on Monday. The former army general criticized the dual policy of the EC and it is impossible any better output from this EC.
He said to protest the misrule of the present govt, 20-party alliance participating the local body election as a part of the ongoing movement of the alliance.
