Advisor to the BNP chairperson and ex-President of Supreme court Bar Khandaker Mahbub Hossain, said the Election Commission of the present govt has destroyed the polling systems of the country and those are involved with this destructions of election systems will be tried in future.He disclosed it while addressing the discussion meeting arranged on 35th death anniversary of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman at TIC Hall in city yesterday morning as chief guest as arranged by the Jatiyatabadi Chatra dal , Chittagong City Unit .
Khandaker Mahbub Hossain, said present EC has turned the election as as farcical where innocent peoples are being killed .He demanded rights of adult franchise and legitimate democratic rights of the people. Mahboobuddin further said Ziaur Rahman introduced the multiparty democracy in the country and restored the independence of media and judiciary through forming Supreme Judicial council .He said the present govt is going ahead towards autocracy like Baksal. President of city Chhatradal Gazi Sirajullah presided over the programme . General Secretary of city BNP and central organising secretary of BNP Dr. Shahdat Hossain were also present in it, a sources said.
