Eastern Bank Ltd (EBL) has arranged a syndicated term loan facility of Tk 2,086.91 million for Butterfly Manufacturing Co Ltd (BMCL) for its new state of the art CKD refrigerator manufacturing plant at Bhaluka in Mymensingh.
The plant will manufacture energy efficient non-frost refrigerator under the technical collaboration of world-renowned brand LG Electronics. A deal closing ceremony was held at The Westin Dhaka hotel recently.
M A Mannan, Chairman and Managing Director, Mustafizur Rahman Shazid, COO and Director, Shahjahan Majumder FCA, CFO from the BMCL, Ali Reza Iftekhar, Managing Director and CEO and Ahmed Shaheen, Deputy Managing Director fom Eastern Bank, among others, were present.
