Bangladesh pacer Ebadot Hossain wants to form a pair like England’s Stuart Broad and James Anderson in the Test team.
Ebadot admitted the English pair are well experienced and they have just started. Recently, they have won the first Test match against New Zealand away from home which boosted confidence in the bowlers.
“They (Broad-Anderson) are probably very good and experienced. They have been playing Tests for a long time. We just started. I have played only 11 Tests. Taskin, Shoriful has just started. So we’re trying to do better. We want to play as a team, or the way Anderson-Broads start or try to win for the team,” said Ebadot.
“But it’s a matter of time. The main thing is what we are trying. We are trying from the inside so that we can improve in the Test,”
Ebadot wants to play regular matches to keep up the momentum in Tests.
“We currently have six bowlers in Test cricket. We need good momentum. If we can do the same in every Test and play 10 Tests a year as Taskin and Shoriful have made a great start in New Zealand, the learning space will be much better,” he said.
“But if there is a gap, it is difficult to catch the flow. If you are in a regular match, it will be easier to perform well. We are trying to get better in a few years by cooperating with each other,” he added.
