East West University Alumni Association earned a comfortable 57-run victory over Spike Technology in the T20 Corporate Cricket League at Dhaka Residential Model College ground here on Saturday.
East West University batted first to score 212 runs for 5 in quota 20 overs with Parvez making a century scoring the team highest 100 runs off 55 balls to be adjudged man of the match.
In reply, Spike Technology folded their innings at 155 runs for 6 wickets with Jamil scoring 38 runs.
In the day’s other matches, Bondhon Trading, Shihab Corporate House and Bando Design won their respective matches.
Bondhon Trading beat Bangalink by 14 runs. Bondhon Trading opened the innings first and scored 174 runs for 5 wickets and later they restricted Banglalink at 160 runs for 8 wickets. Masud of Bondhon Trading was adjudged the man of the match.
In the day’s another match, Shihab Corporate House Ltd (SCHL) defeated Ekattor TV by three wickets. Ekattor TV batted first and scored 135 runs for 7 wickets. In reply, SCHL chased the target in 19.2 overs losing 7 wickets. Titu of SCHL was adjudged the man of the match.
In the day’s other match, Bando Design beat Radio Today by 10 runs.
Batting first, Bando Design scored 129 runs and later they restricted Radio Today at 119 runs for 7 wickets. Mizanur of Bando Design received the man of the match award.
