Dhaka Additional Metropolitan Magistrate Abubakar Siddique’s court passed the order to send them to jail on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, a victim named Taherul Islam filed a case of frauding with the Gulshan police station against the e-commerce company E-orange for not getting ordered products for months.
The accused are – Sonia Mahjabeen, Masukur Rahman, Amanullah, Bithi Akhter, Kawsar and all the owners of E-orange. However, the number of owners in the company was not mentioned in the case.
The case alleges that since April 28, money has been paid for the purchase of various products at different times – which was supposed to be delivered by the E-orange company after a certain period of time. The victims were being deceived by not delivering the goods after giving repeated notices.
When the victims went to the office of E-orange to deliver his product, the officials and owners of the office said that the products would be delivered in a few days, however, they have fraudulently embezzled around Tk 1,100 crore from one lakh victims without delivering any product.
The lawsuit further states that E-orange was creating “haze” in the name of changing the ownership. No information about the new owner and the old owner is being disclosed to the victims. It was also mentioned in the case that the accused had stopped all official activities and escaped.
