To prevent identity fraud and legal notarized document tampering, Barrister M Rafiqul Islam Chowdhury, a young lawyer of Chattogram has invented an e-notarization tools, a solution of Electronic Document Notarization and Affidavit execution through a unique and intellectual property protected technology and web platform titled Notarybd.com. Barrister Chowdhury is the sole inventor and architect of this invention. The uniqueness of his invention is “Electronic Document Notarization and Affidavit Execution Online” comprising the method of cryptography and e-notarization tools. The trend and creativity of his solution is the first and only in the legal and notary service sector of the Asian sub-continent, said Barrister Chowdhury. He added that “The Market Potential and target clients are the residents and non-resident Bangladeshis including students, visa applicants, public and private sectors, foreign embassies and immigration departments and more. He also added that a strong rate of growth at the start of operation is highly expected.
Barrister Chowdhury explained that functionalities and features including the user requirement of his invention showcased in national platform at BASIS Software Expo-2019 at the International Convention Center in Dhaka. The stall of Notarybd.com was visited by huge visitors including Basis President Almas Kabir and Vice-President Mushfiqur Rahman, ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak as Chief Guest of BASIS SoftExpo 2019, Abu Sayeed Al Mahmood Swapon, MP and other dignitaries.
One of the methods employed in Online Notarization is the use of Electronic and digital signature and electronic notary seals in order to notarize the document and take affidavit to an electronic document validate with a digital signature certificate issued by Controller of Certifying Authority (CCA), Govt of Bangladesh. Barrister Chowdhury said, Quality and application of Technology includes Asymmetric Key Cryptography Method, Digital Signature technology, two factors authentication, various rigorous process, WEBRTC technology, cloud-based storage and backup in order to secure and ensure quality, stability and reliability of online e-notarization technology, solution and service.
Barrister Chowdhury added as the first ever sole inventor and IT architect, the online notarization platform is the outcome of his sole relentless research and dedicated efforts for last more than 8 years. The Notarybd.com Online E-notarization Platform will be available for the public by the end of this year.
