The authority of Jagannath University (JnU) inaugurated an e-library and daily newspaper archive section on Tuesday.
JnU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mizanur Rahman was chief guest in the inauguration programme while Librarian Md Enamul Haque was in the chair.
Prof Dr Mizan said that the students of the university will get illimitable opportunity to read more than 24,000 books published by worldwide noted book publishers including McGraw-Hill Education, Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, Springer, Taylor and Francis Group, SAGE Publication, through using the e-library.
Moreover, the students and researchers will be highly aided by the Newspaper archive section, he added.
During the inauguration programme JnU Treasurer Prof Md Salim Bhuiyan, Registrar Engineer Md. Ohiduzzaman, JnU Teachers’ Association (JnUTA) General Secretary Prof Dr Abul Hossain, among others, were also present.
