The E-filing or electronic filing system began on Thursday at the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock with the disposal of two files formally, said an official release.
Fisheries and Livestock Secretary M Maksudul Hasan Khan inaugurated the E-filing programme at the ministry conference room in the city.
The E-filing live system has so far been introduced in 615 departments, including 64 district commissioners’ offices, 29 ministries and 32 directorates.
The E-filing programme is being aided by A2i project of the Prime Minister’s Office.
Among others, Deputy Secretary of the ministry Hafsa Begum and A2i representative Mobsuruddin were present
