The government is going to organize e- Business Fair in New York, London and Dubai jointly with the Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS) aiming at creating opportunities for showcasing Bangladeshi e-Commerce services and products.
A decision in this regard was taken at a meeting held at the conference room of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division Wednesday with Post, Telecom and Information Technology Minister Abdul Latif Siddique in the chair.
Official sources said the meeting discussed in details the experiences achieved through the London e-Commerce Fair held last year and decided to organize e- business fair in New York, London and Dubai jointly with BCS to create an opportunity to shop online.
“This time we’ve taken decision to provide assistance to organize e-business fair in New York, London and Dubai aimed at making expatriate Bangladeshis and foreigners to know about the opportunities that might be created through extending the use of services and products,” said ICT Secretary Md. Nazrul Islam Khan.
