The reception of Leoni Cuelenaere, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Dhaka held in the city on Monday.
Dutch Bangla Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DBCCI) hosted the reception party.
Kabir bin Anwar, Director General (Admin) of Prime Minister’s Office (PMO),
& Major Gen. Humayun Khaled,(Retd), Chairman, Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation (BJMC) were present at the programme as special guest among others.
Md Hassan Khaled, President of DBCCI welcomed everyone to the program and reported various activities taken by DBCCI in pervious year.
Khaled also highlighted the upcoming DBCCI event “Dutch-Bangla Expo-2016” to be held during 28-29 September 2016 in the Netherlands.
Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Dhaka, Board of Investment (BOI), Public Private Partnership Authority (PPPA), Bangladesh Economic Zone Authority (BEZA), and FBCCI are also be supporting the expo.
Leoni expressed her gratitude to DBCCI for the Chamber’s activities to develop bilateral trade between the Netherlands and Bangladesh and assured the best support for DBCCI for their enthusiastic steps forwards developing business for both the countries.
Shahriar Taha, Chairman, Standing Committee, Trade Fair & Event delivered vote of thanks.
Md. Atiqul Haque, Vice President of DBCCI, Altaf Hossain Biswas, Secretary General, DBCCI and honorable members of the Trade Fair & Event Committee, Shahriar Taha, Chairman, Muhammad Risalat Siddique, Member Secretary and Rehana Akter Ruma, Coordinator were also present in the event.
Besides, Monnujan Khanam, Advisor, Economic and Commercial Affairs, Dutch Embassy in Dhaka, Distinguished members of DBCCI, media representative of Electronic and Printing media participated in the event.
