Popular children’s channel Duronto TV is showcasing its
17th season with new programmes along with its regular content.
The new season started from November 1 and it is featuring educational programmes The English Club and Banan
Maane SPELLING.
The English Club was premieres yesterday and it is being shown from Monday to Thursday at the following times 9:00am, 11:30am and 9:00pm. The programme is modelled as a kid’s club where the children will get to learn English through various activities such as games, drawing, dancing and singing. Three Apumoni’s played by Naziba Basher, Kuhu Mannan and Carolina Cyrus will teach them all the tricks and to learn English efficiently. There are a total of 53 thematic funny English songs in this programme. Naziba Basher, Kuhu Mannan and Carolina Cyrus have given their voices in the songs. The songs have been directed by musician Abida Sultana and dances have been choreographed by Sweety Das Chowdhury.
Duronto TV’s another programme Banan Maane SPELLING, a Bangla-English spelling bee competition is designed for 5th and
6th graders. Directed by Monirul Hossain Shipon, 27-episode show will be hosted by popular actress Moutushi Biswas. The programme will air from November 5, every Friday and Saturday at 1:30pm and 8:30pm, respectively on Duronto TV.
