Chittagong Metropolitan Puja UdyapanParishad held a press conference to realize 11-pt demand including celebrations of six-day Sharadya Durgapuja beginning from 10 October to 15 October at 2240 pujamandaps including 276 in the metropolitan city under 16 police stations and 1964 in 15 upazilas of the district.
General Secretary of Mahanagar Puja Udyapan Parishad Hillol Sen Ujjwal read out a written statement at a press conference held at Chittagong Press Club Auditorium on October 9 at 12 noon. Lion Ashish Kumar Bhattacharya, President of Mahanagar Puja Parishad, answered various questions of the journalists.
