A 24-day long duet exhibition titled Dui Bangal of two painters of two generations – Hashem Khan and Mohammad Iqbal will begin at 5:30pm at Gallery 21 in the city’s Dhanmondi area today.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by noted art critic and writer Prof Borhanuddin Khan Jahangir, noted educationist and art critic Syed Manzoorul Islam, eminent historian Prof Muntasir Mamun and architect and poet Rabiul Hussain.
This exhibition is a part of a series exhibition, which second series is scheduled to be held in Osaka, Japan from April 17 to 22.
Around 50 artworks of Hashem Khan and Mohammad Iqbal will put on display in the exhibition.
To give a brief about the exhibition, a press conference was held at the auditorium of Gallery 21 in the city yesterday where artists Hashem Khan and Mohammad Iqbal and founder director of Gallery 21 Shameem Subrana spoke at the conference.
