A student of Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET) has been missing for nine days from a mess adjacent to the university campus in Gazipur. The missing student is identified as Golam Mostafa, 22, son of Mohammad Ali of Uttar Arazi Choraikhola village in Nilphamari Sadar upazila and a third-year student of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE)
department of DUET.
Golam Mostafa used to live in a mess (student dormitory) named ‘Shaleha Kuthir’ adjacent to Duet campus, said the victim’s brother Shadequl Islam.
“On March 6, my brother was seen for the last time while going for Fazr prayers. After that he didn’t return to the mess,” he said.
The family members could not manage to trace him despite hectic search efforts to all possible places.
A general diary was filed with Joydebpur Police Station on March 12 in this connection.
