A defamation case has been filed against Vice-president of Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (Ducsu) Nurul Haque Nur.
Mujahid Kamal Uddin, vice-president of Salimullah Muslim Hall Students’ Union of DU, filed the case with the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ziaur Rahman on Tuesday morning.
After hearing the statement of the plaintiff, the court asked Shahbagh Police Station to investigate the complaint and submit a report to this end.According to the case statement, Nur has engaged in different negative activities like tender business, extortion and illegal lobbying by misusing the post of Ducsu VP.
