Dhaka University (DU) authority on Monday withdrew their ultimatum banning the official activities of all the social and the cultural organizations at Teacher-Student Center (TSC) after 8:00 pm, as some organizations opposed and criticized the decision.
The Director of TSC Mohi-uz-Zaman Moyna confirmed it to the New Nation.

The director said, the notice has been misinterpreted. The VC directed us
to fix closing hours after meeting with all the organizations. We met them and they submitted their opinions.
On October 17, a notice signed by TSC director was sent to all the organizations. It was also said if it was absolutely necessary, they could do their official work until 11 pm with the permission of university proctor. The ban on the activities at TSC beyond 8 pm was imposed for security reason, the TSC official said.
