In order to support financially disadvantaged students of Dhaka University (DU), a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the DU and Waali e. v. was signed recently at a simple ceremony held at the Vice-Chancellor’s office here.
Treasurer of DU Prof Dr Md Kamal Uddin and Executive Board Member of Waali e. v. Nora Schmidt signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.
Vice-Chancellor of DU Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique and Acting Registrar Syed Rezaur Rahman were present on the occasion.
Under the MoU, Waali e. v., a German-based International Organization, will provide scholarships to underprivileged and talented students of DU to pursue their tertiary level education.
