Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Dhaka University (DU) Professor Dr M Akhtaruzzaman left here on Thursday for West Bengal (India) as a member of the Prime Minister’s entourage team.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi inaugurated the newly constructed “Bangladesh Bhaban” at Visva-Bharati University at Shantiniketan in West Bengal on Friday, said a university release on Friday.
The Bangladesh Bhaban was built at Visva-Bharati University under the initiative and financial support of Bangladesh government.
The VC will return home today, the release added.
