Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman has returned home from Nepal on Saturday evening, after attending the 45th Convocation of Tribhuvan University (TU) as Chief Guest. The convocation was held on December 19, 2019.
During the visit Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister of Nepal and Chancellor of Tribhuvan University Mr. KP Sharma Oli at the latter’s official residence in Kathmandu.
Prof Dr Md. Akhtaruzzaman held fruitful bilateral talks of mutual interests especially on higher education and research programs with Nepalese Education Minister Mr. Giriraj Mani Pokhrel, Tribhuvan University VC Prof. Dr. Dharma K. Baskota and other academicians of Tribhuvan University (TU).
Fruitful discussions were also held between DU VC and the authorities of Tribhuvan University regarding exchange of students and faculty members between the two universities.
