Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique on Sunday condoled the death of country’s noted photojournalist Jahirul Haque.
In a condolence message, he expressed his deep shock and sorrow at the death of Hazi Jahir, who died at a hospital in New Delhi after battling against jaundice (Hepatitis-B) since long.
Prof Siddique said his loss in the photojournalism arena is irreparable.
He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed his sympathy to the bereaved family members.
