Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Dhaka University Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman protested and condemned the murder attempt at Liberation War Museum Trustee Dr Sarwar Ali.
In a statement on Tuesday, the VC said this attack is a strike of anti-Liberation War forces against the spirit of Liberation War as Sarwar was a person with non-communal values and he always holds the spirit of Liberation War. Akhtaruzzaman urged the authorities concerned to bring the culprits to the book immediately by identifying them and ensuring exemplary punishment. Two miscreants attempted to kill Liberation War Museum Trustee Dr Sarwar Ali after entering his Uttara residence in the capital on Sunday night.
