Dhaka University Tourism and Hospitality Management Department has taken a project titled “Campus Tourism” to flourish tourism industry and build efficient human resource in the country.
In this regard, the department signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation (BPC) recently at a function at the department office.
Chairman of Tourism and Hospitality Management Department Prof Mujib Uddin Ahmed and chairman of BPC Dr Aparup Chowdhury signed the MoU on behalf of the respective organizations.
Business Studies Faculty Dean Prof Sibli Rubayatul Islam and Project Coordinator Assistant Prof Rumana Parvin, BPC General Manager Faysal Shah and Tour Manager Subhash Chandra Nandi were present on the occasion, as the guests.
Under the project, significant establishments, history, heritage, social and cultural importance of the university will be projected to foreign tourists.
