DU Mass Communication and Journalism (MCJ) Department teachers and students formed the human chain on the campus on Sunday. Presided
by Prof Gitiara Nasreen, MCJ department chairman Prof Mofizur Rahman, Prof Robayet Ferdous, Mubashar’s sister Tamanna, among others, participated the programme.
Prof Mofizur Rahman said that it is the government’s duty to take initiatives to trace him.
Dr Mubashar Hasan, an assistant professor of School of Humanities and Social Sciences of privately-run North South University and a former student of the DU’s MCJ department, went missing on Tuesday night.
