DU teacher gets Emerging Researcher Award

Dhaka University (DU) teacher Muhammed Mahbubur Rahaman has received the prestigious Emerging Researcher -Bursary Award 2015 from the European Education Research Association (ERRA) recently, one of the world largest conference of Education Researcher is taking place at Cornivnus University in Budapest, Hungary.
Muhammed Mahbubur Rahaman, Assistant Professor at Institute of Education and Research, University of Dhaka has received the Prestigious Emerging Researcher -Bursary Award 2015. The award was given in the opening ceremony of The European Conference on Educational Research (ECER 2015 Budapest). Among 3000 thousands education researchers from all over the world, 25 researchers have nominated for the year for this year.
The president of the European Educational Research Association Professor Theo Wubbels gave the award to the winners. Mr. Mahbub achieved the award for his current research project on “Global policies of inclusive education and inclusive education practices: A study of provisions for secondary students with disabilities in Bangladesh”.
He is now doing his PhD under the supervision of Professor Janinka Greenwood at University of Canterbury, New Zealand and enjoying UC Doctoral Scholarship.
