Associate Professor of the Department of Geography and Environment of Dhaka University DU)Dr Asraf Dewan on Monday donated 102 books worth Taka seven lakh to DU Library.
Prof Asraf handed over the books to Dhaka University (DU) Acting Librarian Professor Dr SM Jabed Ahmed at a simple ceremony at the Vice-Chancellor’s Office here.
The books are related to various subjects including Computer Science, Disaster Management and Environment.
DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique and Pro-VC (education) Professor Dr Nasrin Ahmed were present on the occasion.
Arefin Siddique thanked Asraf Dewon for donating books to DU library.
