Campus Report :A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Department of Educational and Counseling Psychology of Dhaka University (DU) and Trauma-Aid/Hap-Switzerland on Monday at DU VC office to organize Psychotraumatology and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Workshops in Bangladesh. Treasurer of DU Prof Dr Md. Kamal Uddin and President of Trauma-Aid/Hap-Switzerland Hanna Egli-Bernd signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institution. Vice-Chancellor of DU Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique, Dean of the Faculty of Biological Sciences Prof Dr M Imdadul Hoque, Chairperson of the Department of Educational and Counseling Psychology Prof Dr Shaheen Islam and other faculty members were present on this occasion.Under the MoU, Dhaka University and Trauma-Aid/Hap-Switzerland will jointly work under the ‘Project of Psychotraumatology and EMDR Bangladesh.’ Trauma-Aid/Hap-Switzerland will provide financial support to DU for organizing the workshops.
