The Dhaka University (DU) authorities have suspended the admission test of its Master of Business Administration (MBA) evening programme amid controversy.
The exam was supposed to take place on Friday.
Dhaka University Vice Chancellor Prof Akhtaruzzaman confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune.
“I asked the dean to suspend the exam and formulate a guideline regarding
the evening MBA courses,” the VC said.
Prof Abdul Moin, dean of the university’s Faculty of Business Studies, also said the exam had been suspended.
Earlier on Thursday night, the DU VC and Pro-VC said they had not been informed about the exam scheduled on Friday.
The VC also said no guidelines had been formulated regarding the evening MBA courses.
