Founding Chairman of Clinical Psychology Department of Dhaka University (DU) and Supernumerary Professor Dr. M Anisur Rahman died of old age complications at a city hospital on Friday.
He breathed his last at around 7pm at LabAid Hospital at the age of 70.
Anisur left behind a daughter, host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
DU Vice-Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique, President and General Secretary of Dhaka University Teachers Association (DUTA) Prof. Farid Uddin Ahmed and Prof ASM Maksud Kamal in separate messages of condolence expressed deep shock at his demise.
They prayed for eternal peace of his departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.
