Professor Anamul huq, a former senate member and head of the Department of Geology of Dhaka University (DU), died of brain hemorrhage at Popular Hospital, Dhanmondi-2, in the city on Wednesday. He was 75.
He left behind one son, six sisters, two brothers, friends, relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
His Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Dhanmondi Baitul Aman Jama Mosque on Wednesday after Esha prayers. Later, he was buried at Jurain Graveyard in the city.
