The online application process for admission into first year honours programmes in Dhaka University (DU) for 2019-2020 academic session will begin on August 5, said a press release from DU Public Relation office.
The application process will begin at 4:00pm on the day and will continue till 12:00am on August 27, confirmed the press release.
The decision was taken at a meeting of DU’s committee on admission into
first year honours programme held in the Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Building on Wednesday.
DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman chaired the meeting, where Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Prof Dr Muhammad Samad, Convenor of the admission committee Dr Subrata Kumar Aditya, Chairmen of various departments, directors of various institutes, acting registrars, and the proctor were also present at the meeting.
However, the admission test for DU’s ‘Ka’ unit will take place on September 20, while admission test for ‘Kha’ unit will be on September 21, ‘Ga’ unit on September 13, ‘Gha’ unit on September 27, ‘Cha’ unit (general knowledge) on September 14 and ‘Cha’ unit (drawing) on September 28, said the release.
The meeting, decided 75marks for MCQ test and 45marks for written test.The candidates will get 50minutes for the MCQ test while 40minutes for the written test.
The details of the admission process will be available soon on DU website and also by press release.
