The online admission process for the students of 2016-2017 academic session of Dhaka University (DU) will begin today at 10 am.
DU Vice-Chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique will inaugurate the online application process. Students will allow to apply for admission till September 7.
The decision accepted from a general meeting relating to the honurs 1st year admission process on Sunday at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate building meeting room.
DU VC chaired the meeting, while DU Pro-VC (Education) Professor Nasrin Ahmed, Pro-VC (Administration) Professor M Aktaruzzaman, Treasurer Professor Kamal Uddin, Convener of the online admission committee professor Hasibur Rashid and Faculty Deans were present at the meeting among other.
This year for the ‘Ka’ unit application form the students are required to have GPA 8, for ‘Kha’ unit GPA 7, for ‘Ga’ unit GPA 7.5, for the ‘Cha’ unit GPA 6.5 combining SSC and HSC with the additional subject.
According to the decision of the academic committee, admission test of ‘Ka’ unit will be held on October 21, that of ‘Kha’ unit on September 23, ‘Ga’ unit on September 30, ‘Gha’ unit on October 28, and ‘Cha’ unit on October 1 (drawing) and September 24(general knowledge).
