The Dhaka University (DU) Haji Muhammad Mohsin Hall’s annual sports competition was held at university central playground here on Monday.
Mohammad Zaman Ullah of Mass Communication and Journalism department secured the first place while Ala Aliula of the same department became runner-up.
DU Pro-Vice Chancellor (academic) Professor Dr Nasreen Ahmad distributed the prizes among the winners.
Provost of the Mohsin Hall Professor Dr M Nijamul Haque Bhuiyan, senior teachers of the university, officials and students of different departments were present at the prize giving function.
Earlier, DU Pro- VC (administration) Professor Dr Mohammad Akhtaruzzaman formally inaugurated the meet as the chief guest.
