Dhaka University, ‘Kha’ unit honours’ admission test for the session 2014-2015 was held on Friday.
A total of 41,960 candidates took part in the test for 2,221 seats.
Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Nasreen Ahmad, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Prof Dr Shahid Akhtar Hossain, and Treasurer Prof Dr Md. Kamal Uddin, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Coordinator of Kha-Unit Admission Test Prof Dr Sadrul Amin, senior teachers and officers of the University visited the examination halls.
Meanwhile, one candidate has been detained for allegedly espousing unfair
means in the admission test. She has been identified as Ayon Hasan.
DU Acting Proctor Amzad Ali told The New Nation that the detainee was trying to get answers using headphone device during the examination at Wills Little Flower School centre, Kakrail.
He has been handed over to Ramna police station.
