Islamic History and Culture Department of Dhaka University (DU) on Sunday organized a reception to welcome its first year honours students and bid farewell to Masters final year students on the campus.
Held at Muzaffar Ahmed Chowdhury Auditorium of Social Science Faculty of the university, the function was addressed by DU Pro Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Prof. Dr. Md Akhtaruzzaman as chief guest, said a DU release.
Islamic History and Culture Department Chairman Prof. Mahfuzul Islam presided over the function while Arts Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Abu Md. Delwar Hossain addressed it as special guest, the release said.
