Dhaka University (DU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rhein-Waal University, Germany on Sunday at the office of the Vice-Chancellor.
DU Treasurer Prof Dr Kamal Uddin and President of Rhein-Waal University Prof Dr Marie-Louse Klotz signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Under this MoU, DU and Rhein-Waal University, Germany will jointly implement various academic programmes to offer Degrees and support teachers and students to enhance their academic excellence through undertaking different initiatives.
DU Vice-chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique, Vice-President for Research and Development Prof Dr Peter Scholz and Prof Dr Maille Reicharat of the Rhein-Waal University, Germany, DU Dean of the Faculty of Biological Sciences Prof Dr Md Imdadul Haque, Chairperson of the Department of Microbiology Prof Dr Mahmuda Yasmin, Prof Dr Md Anwar Hossain of the same Department and Registrar (Acting) Syed Rezaur Rahman, were, among others present on the occasion.
