The “Hall Annual Athletics Competition 2016-17” of Dhaka University (DU) will begin today at the university central playground on the campus.
Vice-Chancellor of the university Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique will inaugurate the competition of Rokeya Hall at 9am today as the chief guest, a DU press release said on Wednesday.
Pro-VC (academic) of the university Professor Dr Nasreen Ahmad will distribute the prizes among the winners at noon on the day.
However, the competition will end on January 25 while the competitions of all students’ dormitories will be held gradually at the same time and same venue.
