With a view to establishing supportive collaboration between Dhaka University (DU) and Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (GIGCAS) a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed recently.
DU Treasurer Professor Dr Md Kamal Uddin and GIGCAS Director Dr Gan Zhang signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides.
DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Akhtaruzzaman, Science Faculty Dean Professor Dr Md Abdul Aziz and Chemistry Department Chairman Prof Dr Md Azizur Rahman, among others, were present in the meeting held at VC lounge.
Under the MoU, teachers, researchers, students and publications and documents on education and research would be exchanged between the two institutions.
