The first-year admission test of honours ‘Ga’ unit under the Business Studies faculty of Dhaka University (DU) for the 2018-19 academic session was held on Friday.
The one-hour test began from 10 am and continued till 11 am. The number of centres was 54 and candidates 26,960.
DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Md Akhtaruzzaman, Pro-VC Professor Muhammad Samad, Treasurer Professor Md. Kamal Uddin, Dean of the faculty of Business Studies and also coordinator of Ga Unit admission Test Professor Shibli Rubayat-Ul Islam and senior teachers and officers of the university visited the examination halls.
‘This year the university administration was very
much alert against all kinds of fraudulence and irregularities. As a result, the admission test passed peacefully,’ said DU Proctor Professor AKM Golam Rabbani.
The admission test (general knowledge) of Fine Arts Faculty under ‘Cha-Unit’ will be held on September 15 (Saturday).
