DU entry test begins today

The first-year undergraduate admission tests of Dhaka University (DU) under 2021-22 academic session will begin on Friday by holding ‘Ga’ unit admission test under Faculty of Business Studies.
A total of 30,693 admission seekers applied for the ‘Ga’ unit under the Business Studies Faculty against 930 seats. In that case, 33 admission seekers will vie for a seat in this test.
Following the practice of previous years, the exams will be held in divisional cities of the country to reduce the suffering of students and guardians.
Besides, the ‘Kha’ unit admission test will be held under arts faculty on June 4, Unit-Ka and Unit Gha under the supervision of science faculty on June 10 and 11 respectively.
The MCQ test of ‘Cha’ unit will be held under fine arts faculty on June 17.
All the exams will be taken for a total of 120 marks of which 20(10+10) marks will be counted from SSC and HSC GPA, 60 marks from the MCQ exam and 40 marks from the written exam.
The tests will be held from 11 am to 12.30 pm on the scheduled dates, of which 45 minutes for MCQ exam and 45 minutes for written exam. In cases of ‘Cha’ unit, the test will be held from 11.00 am to 11.30 am.
Moreover, the students are seeing their site plan of Ga unit via Mobile SMS and university website. The students will be able to see the site plan for others unit from 48 hours before the starting of the exam.
The students will be able to download their admit card from university website up to one hour before the starting of adjacent unit test.
Moreover, Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) Dhaka University unit adopted some programme including Student services & Information Center for providing information, Joy Bangla Bike Service for transportation, Guardian Camp for Guardians’ rest, fresh water service, detection signs and volunteers to help the admission seekers.
Besides, Luggage storage, Mobile toilets, wheelchairs and necessary logistical supplies for people with disabilities, first aid services, distribution of mask, pens and related learning materials, accommodation for admission seekers on the night before examination will be provided.
