The Dhaka University (DU) authorities will distribute convocation costumes among the eligible students on January 11 and 12 ahead of 49th convocation of the university.
The students have been asked to collect the convocation costumes from Social Science Building, Science Cafeteria, Cafeteria, Business Faculty, Nawab Nabab Ali Chowdhury senate Bhaban, Curzon Hall and TSC from 10am to 4pm on January 11 and 12, said a press release.
The syndicate members, academic council members and teachers of the university have been asked to collect the costumes from Nawab Nabab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban.
The 49th convocation of DU will be held on January 13 at the DU Central Playground.
Australian lawyer who has served as the Director General of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Prof Francis Gurry will deliver his speech as the Convocation Speaker.
President Abdul Hamid, also chancellor of the university, will preside over the convocation.
