The Public Administration Day was celebrated recently at the TSC auditorium of Dhaka University (DU). The first year Honors and Masters final year students of the Department of Public Administration of DU have been given reception respectively on the occasion. DU Public Administration Department organized the program. Dhaka University Treasurer Prof Dr Md. Kamal Uddin addressed the function as chief guest.
Chairman of the Department of Public Administration of DU Prof Dr Akhter Hussain presided over the function while Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Prof Farid Uddin Ahmed addressed it as special guest. Besides, Prof Dr Aka Firowz Ahmad delivered welcome speech.
DU Treasurer Prof Dr Md. Kamal Uddin urged the students to become social capital to make Bangladesh a prosperous country. He stressed the need for maintaining public interest through creating an efficient public administration. He said current students have to serve the nation in the future as skilled professionals of the country.
