Campus Report :Dhaka University Debating Club became champion at university level of Daffodil International University Debating Club (DIU DC) National Debate Festival held from January 21 to February 13, 2015. In Collage level Saint Joseph College became champion and Government Science College became runner up while Motijheel Ideal School champion and Government Laboratory School became runner up in School level. A total of 32 university teams, 16 college teams and 24 school teams took part in the DIU DC National Debate Festival. Dr Dipu Moni MP, Chairman, Parliamentary Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Former Foreign Minister was present at the closing and award giving ceremony on Saturday at Ashulia Permanent Campus of the university. Presided over by Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University, Prof Dr Mizanur Rahman, Chairman, National Human Rights Commission was present as the guest of honor. The program was addressed by Prof Dr Yousuf M Isalm, Vice Chancellor, Emeritus Professor Dr Aminul Islam, Prof AMM Hamidur Rahman, Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Science, Farhana Helal Mehtab, Moderator, Erfan Elahi Sharif , President DIU DC.
