The freshers’ reception for the first year honours students of the Department of Applied Mathematics of Dhaka University (DU) was held on Thursday at the AF Mujibur Rahman Ganit Bhaban of the university. Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique addressed the function as chief guest.
Chairman of the Department of Applied Mathematics Prof Dr Abdus Samad presided over the function while Treasurer Prof Dr Md Kamal Uddin addressed it as special guest.
