UNB, Dhaka :
Key share price index at the country’s twin bourses-Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) — again suffer loss on Wednesday, the 4th trading day of the week.
The DSE benchmark index, DSEX shed 19.41 points or nearly 0.38 percent to close at 5109.43 on the day. Of the 305 issues traded, 169 gained, 104 suffered loss and 32 remained unchanged.
Shares worth Tk 545.68 crore changed hands at the DSE on Wednesday.
The day’s top 10 losers at the DSE were Popular Life Insurance, BD Autocars, First Bangladesh Fixed Income Fund, ACI Formulations, Progressive Life Insurance, Eastern Insurance, HWA Well Textiles, EBL NRB Mutual Fund, Standard Ceramic, and AFC Agro Biotech.
