Share transactions at the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) hit 6-month high on Tuesday with the major price index reaching to its high in the past four months.
The higher activities in the market pushed the trade value to Taka 794.95 crore and the volume to 18.84 crore shares, the highest level after February 3 this year when the transaction value was Taka 804.19 crore for 19.90 crore shares.
The record transactions drove DSEX to 4590.65 with 26.30 points gain, the highest after April 24 when the benchmark DSE index finished at 4702.45.
