Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) will launch a mobile application on Wednesday, allowing share trading on mobile phones.
Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith will inaugurate the app named DSE Mobile at a programme in the city’s Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC), said a DSE press release here on Sunday.
DSE Mobile is a mobile version directly linked with DSE trading system, which provide real-time information to investors with mobility. It has two versions. The first one named “DSE-Mobile VIP” is a non-trading version and the second one named “DSE-Mobile Trader” is a trading version of the mobility product DSE-Mobile.
The application together will provide the opportunity to anyone to do share trading from anywhere without physically being present at a brokerage house and without the involvement of authorised traders. Share investors, however, should register with their brokers concerned and install the app from the Google Play Store.
Besides buying and selling shares, the app will provide some featured information, including buy or sell alerts, notifications and portfolio status to the investors, which are not easily available on the website or via brokers’ services.
