The price indices of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) reached the highest position in over eleven months on Thursday, closing session of the week, with higher transactions.
DSEX-the broader index of DSE – gained 4.56 points to finish the day at 4695.19, which was the highest after October 15, 2015.
The blue-chip DS30 and Shariah DSES were slightly 0.70 points down at 1778.70 and 0.24 points down at 1125.86.
Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) finished on Thursday significantly up, with its general CASPI gaining 39.40 points to close at 14,429.44.
At DSE, out of the day’s 322 traded issues, 153 closed higher against 116 losing scrips. At CSE, 246 issues traded while 132 closed higher against 76 closed lower.
